Client Requisition

Project Description: Participated in the analysis, design, and implementation of a system that manages all regulatory information required to classify and describe the type of product being transported and the hazardous nature of each product. This system mitigates compliance risks associated with national and international transport product by land, air and sea.

Expanded Role Description:
•Conducted analysis to determine requirements and produce project estimates for the design, development, testing, and implementation of new software components.
•Produced design documentation (Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.) utilizing Rational Rose, an UML modeling tool.
•Designed and documented database schema to allow persistence of bill of lading related information using Rational Rose and Oracle.
•Provided knowledge transfer and coaching to development resources.
•Participated in the development of software components in Java.
•Supported unit testing and integration testing of all new software components.
•Supported implementation of the component changes into production.
